APEFA staff members, led by our Executive Director, Oscar NZABONIMPA, are proudly participating in the Second World Summit for Social Development, taking place in Doha, Qatar, from 4–6 November 2025. The Summit brings together global leaders and organizations to advance social inclusion, promote decent work, and accelerate efforts to eradicate poverty.
On the sideline of the Second World Summit for Social Development, they also met with the Zero Hunger Project team on the sidelines of the World Summit for Social Development to review partnership progress and explore future collaboration opportunities focusing to the strategies for ending hunger and malnutrition and ensuring the right to food for all as well as scaling up resilient food systems, especially in the face of climate-change, conflict and inequality.
APEFA’s participation at this high-level event provides an opportunity to enhance the organization’s global visibility and reinforce its role as a key civil society actor in community development both in Africa and beyond. It also enables APEFA to strengthen its commitment to aligning financial systems with social and environmental sustainability, contributing to a more equitable and ethical global economy.
