APEFA’s Executive Director, Mr. Oscar Nzabonimpa, urged participants to take the knowledge gained back to their respective districts and lead coordinated actions toward national development goals, with a strong focus on advancing food security and improving community livelihoods in line with NST2 and PSTA 5.

He delivered this message on 20 November 2025 while officially closing the three-day National Capacity Building Training, organized by APEFA in partnership with FAO,
Mr. NZABONIMPA also expressed his sincere appreciation to key partners; FAO, Rwanda Local Government, and MINAGRI, for their unwavering collaboration and support, reaffirming APEFA’s commitment to continued partnership.
“We will continue working together and combining our efforts to advance our country,” He stated.
During the three-day National Capacity Building Training on strengthening food systems transformation, national and district stakeholders were equipped with enhanced technical and institutional capacities to effectively implement and monitor the country’s food systems transformation agenda.
