Kigali, Rwanda | 31 August – 5 September 2026 – Action pour la Protection de l’Environnement et la Promotion des Filières Agricoles (APEFA) proudly participated in the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS Forum) 2026, joining leaders, innovators, investors, policymakers, researchers, and development partners from across Africa and beyond.
The forum gave APEFA an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, learn from innovative approaches, and build strategic partnerships that can contribute to more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food systems.
Through networking and dialogue, APEFA explored opportunities for collaboration in areas including sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, environmental protection, water management, sustainable energy and community development.
APEFA believes that strong partnerships are essential for transforming Africa’s agri-food systems and improving livelihoods. By working together, sharing experiences and embracing innovation, stakeholders can help build a more sustainable and food-secure future for Africa.
